Addition of the 30-person firm accelerates GEI’s western Canada expansion
Toronto, ON, June 23, 2025 – GEI Consultants, a GISI Consulting Group business, has merged with GeoWest Engineering Ltd., a 30-person firm specializing in geotechnical, geo-structural, and environmental engineering. GeoWest is based in Abbotsford, British Columbia, which solidifies GEI Canada’s western Canadian presence. “We’re excited to welcome GeoWest into the GEI family,” says Scott Wallington, Chief Executive Officer of GEI. “The GeoWest leadership team has built a business that reflects GEI’s and GISI Consulting Group’s joint commitment to excellence in client service and employee satisfaction, making them a natural partner for GEI Canada.”
